dog is when the guy disguises as a gangster

wolf is when he changes into a secret spy searching for evidences of the illegal works by the gangster leader( MA wu) who always trusted him and treats him like a son.

dog is when he losts his memory and losing the truth that he is a spy not a real gangster. he restarts his life by acknowlegding ma wu , the guy who killed his real parents)as his father.

wolf is when he regains his memory, and has to suffer by not revealing his real identity to his girlfren . he has previously faked his death in order to take up another identity to become a spy. now that he meets his girlfren again, he starts afresh with her, which is pretty easy, and that the girl fren biological father is MA WU.
